Off-road and desert driving including terrain assessment, vehicle recovery, convoy discipline, tyre management and self-recovery technique.
Learning outcomes

- Conduct specialized inspections for off-road vehicles.
- Use 4WD systems and off-road driving aids correctly.
- Navigate safely through various terrains (mud, sand, rocks, etc.).
- Apply safe techniques for ascending and descending steep slopes.
- Understand the risks of vehicle rollovers and how to prevent them.
- Use recovery equipment (winches, recovery straps) safely.
- Manage vehicle loads and stability on uneven ground.
- Follow environmental guidelines for off-road driving.
- Demonstrate competence in off-road driving through practical exercises.

Where we deliver this course
We deliver the Off-Road Defensive Driving course at our training centre in Abidjan or directly on your site anywhere in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa, in English or French, for groups of 4 to 10 participants. Courses follow international standards and are scheduled around your operation.
