Learning outcomes
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of a Helicopter Landing Officer.
- Manage helideck operations and ensure the safety of personnel.
- Communicate effectively with the helicopter pilot and the installation.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of passengers and cargo.
- Conduct helideck inspections and ensure it is clear of hazards.
- Manage the helideck emergency response team (HERT).
- Understand helicopter refueling procedures and safety.
- Follow established protocols for helicopter arrivals and departures.
- Maintain helideck equipment and firefighting systems.
- Comply with all aviation and offshore safety regulations.

Global SPS certificate of training issued to each successful participant, with records retained for client and regulatory audit.
