Advanced First Aid (Team)
Advanced team-based casualty management for designated medical responders, including multi-casualty triage, oxygen therapy, immobilisation and evacuation.
Learning outcomes
- Work effectively as part of an advanced first aid team.
- Use advanced first aid equipment, such as oxygen therapy and suction.
- Manage complex trauma and multiple casualty incidents (triage).
- Provide advanced airway management and ventilation support.
- Administer specific medications under medical direction or protocols.
- Perform advanced wound care and stabilization techniques.
- Monitor vital signs and provide ongoing care for critically ill casualties.
- Coordinate with professional medical services during handover.
- Lead and manage the first aid team during high- pressure situations.
- Participate in advanced medical simulations and drills.

Global SPS certificate of training issued to each successful participant, with records retained for client and regulatory audit.
Where we deliver this course
We deliver the Advanced First Aid (Team) course at our training centre in Abidjan or directly on your site anywhere in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa, in English or French, for groups of 6 to 16 participants. Courses follow international standards and are scheduled around your operation.
