Learning outcomes
- Understand the principles of rigging and lifting operations.
- Identify and select appropriate lifting tackle (slings, shackles, etc.).
- Inspect lifting equipment for wear, damage, and certification.
- Calculate the weight and center of gravity of loads.
- Apply various hitch types (choker, basket, vertical) correctly.
- Understand the load-bearing capacities and angles of slings.
- Use hand signals and radio communication for lifting operations.
- Follow safe procedures for attaching and securing loads.
- Recognize the hazards of lifting operations and implement controls.
- Participate in rigging and lifting training and assessments.

Global SPS certificate of training issued to each successful participant, with records retained for client and regulatory audit.

We deliver the Rigging and Lifting course at our training centre in Abidjan or directly on your site anywhere in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa, in English or French, for groups of 6 to 16 participants. Courses follow international standards and are scheduled around your operation.
