Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader
Leadership certification for helideck emergency response teams, adding command, crew deployment and post-incident management to full member competence.
Learning outcomes
- Lead and coordinate the helideck emergency response team.
- Assess helideck emergency situations and direct response actions.
- Communicate with the helicopter pilot and offshore installation manager (OIM).
- Ensure the safety of the response team and all personnel on the helideck.
- Manage the deployment and operation of helideck firefighting systems.
- Oversee the rescue and evacuation of personnel from the helicopter.
- Conduct post-incident debriefs and prepare detailed reports.
- Manage the training and competency of the helideck response team.
- Ensure all helideck emergency equipment is maintained and ready for use.
- Implement and review helideck emergency response plans.

Where we deliver this course
We deliver the Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader course at our training centre in Abidjan or directly on your site anywhere in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa, in English or French, for groups of 6 to 12 participants. Courses follow international standards and are scheduled around your operation.
